Job Title: Senior Systems Engineer
Location: Chandler, AZ
Duration: 12 months
Description:
The role of this position is to design, install, administer, and optimize systems in a diverse environment. These systems include VMware ESXi, LINUX, Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, and Storage platforms. The position will support physical servers as well as the VMware platform along with the underlying guest O/S systems. The qualified candidate will ensure the availability of client/server applications, configuring new implementations, and developing processes and procedures for ongoing management of the server environment. This position shares responsibility for the security, integrity, and safety of the data center.
The scope of responsibilities includes server hardware, ESXi, Active Directory, Windows Server operating systems, Storage, infrastructure software and applications.
Qualification/Education
- This position requires a minimum of a Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline or equivalent experience. Industry technical certifications are desirable but not required.

- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently. Communicates well and effectively with staff and management.
- Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities, and work effectively under the pressure of time constraints in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Minimum of 5 years of technical support or development experience.
- Extensive experience with LINUX and Microsoft Windows OS administration and troubleshooting, including Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, SQL, RDS
- Experience in virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V.
- Experience with UCS, EMC Storage and vSAN desired.
- ITIL knowledge
- Familiar with PCI
- Prior hands-on experience with Directory Services / Active Directory administration, integration, and migration.
- Extensive ability to troubleshoot and resolve system and network issues related to network, server operations and performance.
- Knowledge and experience with client software/installation/implementation testing.
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Experience with Cloud Services and SaaS environments and services.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience/Knowledge
This is not a trainee position. A minimum of 5 years professional system administration experience is required. Experience should include at least 3 years designing, implementing and supporting the following core Microsoft technologies: Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS and DHCP.
