Position Summary:

Strategic development – understand customers and their requirements, and assists in developing technology roadmaps with a “customer first” focus to meet and anticipate future needs
Technology lifecycle management – design, implementation and upgrades for all Windows Software, Active Directory Services. Identify emerging technologies and features, pilot them in a structured fashion to identify applicability to company user needs, introduces, manages and governs as a service, and migrates/retires as appropriate
Team Oriented – work on a team with fellow engineers to deliver solutions
Communication – develop and deliver communications at all levels as necessary to advance the development and adoption of the services
Assists in ensuring compliance with security policies and procedures

Requirements:

Primary Job Responsibilities/Skills

Senior systems administrator responsible for ongoing support, administration and new deployments related to Windows server infrastructure and enterprise messaging applications
Primary server engineer and administrator for Windows server operating systems.
System Administrator for Office 365 Exchange, AD Sync
Support SMTP, email, anti-spam, email archiving systems
Ensure server configuration compliance with required compliance
Develop and maintain technical documents and diagrams for server infrastructure environment.
Perform daily monitoring, verifying the integrity & availability of all server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs.
Configure/add new services as necessary. Support App/Dev team with infrastructure requirements.
Senior Windows Admin in following areas: (Core OS admin, AD Administration and services, Windows Networking, clustering)
IIS admin experience
Supporting Windows in Virtualization (VMware) environment
Windows 2008/2012 to 2016 AD Upgrade experience
Support Windows based server applications.
Tune workloads and resources as needed.
Administrator Secure Data Transmission using Tibco MFT software
Harden Windows OS, AD Services, IIS
Perform File sharing, DNS, DHCP, GPO, and Clustering administration
Build and Support SQL Servers
Act as a point of contact for Windows Infrastructure, monitor the help desk queue and respond to tickets in a timely manner
Act as backup to Desktop Support team including working helpdesk tickets as needed,
Proficient in PowerShell and WMI
Other duties as assigned
Perform backup role for SCCM administrator duties.
