You will have the opportunity to shape and influence the architectural designs that will enable us to achieve our goal of reaching 100,000,000 MAU. You Will Be • Applying your expertise in data mining and quantitative analysis to seek to understand abuse vectors affecting Clientservices and customers. • Implementing effective countermeasures to eliminate these vectors based on identified patterns, using services your team builds or by implementing third-party products. • Working collaboratively and building relationships with your team and teams across Client. • Driving key performance metrics on abuse impacts and building awareness into Product and Services teams. • Partnering closely with Product teams to solve these problems at scale. • Participating in design meetings and Agile ceremonies. • Creating and informing other teams of your services capabilities through information sharing and documentation. Our stack includes: Golang, Java, Kubernetes, Kinesis, Kafka, Splunk, RDS, AWS More About You On your first day, we''ll expect you to have: • 5+ years of software development experience in a modern programming language such as Golang, Java, or C++ • 5+ years experience doing quantitative analysis manipulating large data sets and drawing actionable insights from data, using SQL or related query engines like Amazon Athena as well as Hive and Spark Data management: SQL, NoSQL (e.g. Cassandra, MongoDB), BigData, data analytics Middleware: SOAP, RESTful interfaces, etc. Cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, Rackspace, etc • 5+ years working in an anti-abuse environment with a large e-commerce or financial entity • Experience in defining, implementing, and communicating performance metrics • Experience in at least one or more scripting languages (such as PHP, Python, or Perl) and/or data visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau) • Experience with building microservices and large-scale distributed systems • Experience with continuous delivery and infrastructure as code • Machine Learning experience building pipelines, models, and model training • Contributed to the anti-abuse or anti-fraud community or related open source projects • Experience integrating third-party anti-abuse or anti-fraud analytics software systems into existing services • Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Security Management or related field
