Job Description :
Working as Global IT Infrastructure Operations Manager responsible for Ford Motor Company Global IT Operations
Review and analyse Service Level Achievement results and make recommendations on improvement opportunities in each lifecycle phase of the engagement.
Global Automation of all the required reporting with a customized view and single user interface.
Achieve process improvements, cycle time reduction, operational efficiency and technology adoption
Promote and increase adoption of Self-Help and Self-Heal technologies.
Manage and support IT Automation Framework.
Integration and Automation of underlying infrastructure layers.
Develop an enabling structure that facilitates a value creation culture in the organization
Defining & measuring KPIs and delivering process optimization and bottom-line continuous improvement gains
End-to-end execution of ITIL processes including Change, Release, Problem and Incident management
Team leadership and staff management, resource management, performance management & job crafting
Evaluate and actively scout for new technology and tools
Assist Tower Leads & Managers in interpreting scope and evaluating risks for complex initiatives
Identify and implement individual activities to improve IT service quality and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of ITSM processes
Train and shadow new Hires on technology and processes used for day-to-day activity for the business
Follow up proper Change Control process as per Industry standards (ITIL)
Work with Implementation Team on complex changes in the Level 1 and 1.5 Support as needed.
Work on additional requests in Remedy on multiple requirements and solutions to various sites across all the regions.
Work with various Solution Engineering Team and Architecture team on latest updates on the Ford IT environment changes to incorporate additional new highlights & Technologies
Architect Solution, Manage, plan, coordinate, supervise and direct HCL information technology professionals for execution.
Blueprinting, execution & auditing of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans
Determine technical goals in consultation with top management, planning and coordinating activities such as installing and upgrading hardware/software in the specified Services scope.
Develop and manage project schedules, investigate and drive resolution for complex requests and issues, ensure that project documentation is complete and accurate, and manage the successful completion of the project scope within the time and budget constraints.
Monitor, control and support service delivery; ensuring systems, methodologies and procedures are in place and followed by using HCL Proview tool and HGPMF methodology - (HCL Global Project Management Framework
Work with key shareholders to formulate a comprehensive technology plan that is consistent with the overall business objectives and budgetary considerations.
Lead technical requirements gathering sessions and producing technical requirements and design documents.
Adept in analysing information system needs, evaluating end-user requirements, engineering solutions to customer requirements, custom designing solutions, troubleshooting for complex information systems management.
Market research, Bench Marking, Gap Analysis, Implementing Industry Best practices.
Responsible for project P&L and commercials management
