Position : Senior Security Engineer (Infrastructure/Operations)
DETAILS
Location: Dallas, TX
Position Type: Direct Hire - Perm
Salary : $100K - 110K
Relocation offered
Interview: phone then f2f – video if not local or they will fly them in
Work auth: Citizen/GC/EAD GC
This is on the operations side of the business. This position will help the Manager when needed and mentor others that are more junior
Team size is around 14 – which includes 2 offshore in India
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
Engineering and operating security solutions for the company infrastructure
Solution implementation for new security capabilities, to include conducting proof of concepts and managing relationships with vendors
Enhancing the security posture of infrastructure and security tools
Developing, operating and evolving incident response capabilities
Participant in the assessment of corporate cloud services
Working with infrastructure teams to develop and maintain standards for critical infrastructure, across Windows and Linux-based operating systems and networking devices
Designing vulnerability management programs from a technical and procedural perspective
Taking a role in engineering SIEM solutions such as ELK stack, Graylog and Sumologic
Developing and designing IDS/IPS capabilities and operations
Designing secure solutions to ensure PCI-DSS, ISO27001, and SOC standards are met
Other duties as assigned
TECHNICAL SKILLS
7+ years’ experience with the following skill sets…
7 years of experience in securing networks and operating systems
Experience in Infrastructure Automation (Ansible, Puppet)
Docker or Kubernetes knowledge
Logstash, ELK, Kafka
Vulnerability remediation and validation
Strong communication abilities
RHCE / RHCSA, GCIH, GPEN, certifications are a plus
Python experience is a plus
Must have a Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
