Duration: 1 Year
We are looking for a SQL Server DBA who excels in strong technical skills can support machine critical applications with strong development skills. Local candidate preferred
· Backup and recovery, high availability/Cluster, AlwaysOn and DR
· Strong in T-SQL, including the ability to write complex queries, Code Reviews, Deployments and PowerShell Scripts.
· Performance monitoring and Query Optimization using Perfmon, SQL Profiler
· Strong knowledge of indexes, index management, integrity checks
· Capacity planning and SQL Server Upgrade planning
· Experience on SSIS, SSRS
· Ability to collaborate with and support the infrastructure team, Development Teams
· 24/7 on-call support Production environments
Qualifications:
BS in Computer Science or Information Technology or similar field
Minimum 7 years of experience as a SQL Server DBA
SQL Server AlwaysOn and windows clustering experience is mandatory
Ability to multitask with multiple projects and work independently
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience Couchbase Administration or experience on any NoSQL Administration is a big Plus
Experience in Linux is a big plus
MCDBA or Microsoft certification is plus
