Job Description :
Amick Brown is looking for a Senior SAP Basis Consultant for a Project in the public sector
Location – On-site, Columbus, Ohio
Job Responsibilities:
Lead team of system administrators for analytical application such as SAS, SAP HANA, R
Responsible for configuration, optimization and support of various analytical tools e.g. SAS GRID, Studio, Eterprise miner, Model Manager etc.
Responsible for managing and optimizing SAP SCM landscape
Analyze exceptions, advise SAP Technical Support Team with resolutions
Research exceptions, identify root causes (system issues, system logs, etc, and provide solutions to issues reported
Preparing system statistical reports.
Installing patches and service packs, as required
Coordinate testing of software releases and tracks recommended corrections for system errors
Document system changes
Provide general documentation support for technical system changes and update
Setup and maintain consistent SAP backup and Disaster Recovery procedures for SAP servers
Leads and plans disaster recovery and execution activities
Enforce SAP and industry best practices
Required skills:
10+ Years of SAP Administration experience
Must possess IT-I security secret clearance
Must possess IA level IAT II
Must possess 8570 certification (Security +)
Certification in SAP BASIS
Experience in a multi-application, complex landscapes
Experience with SAP HANA, ECC, SCM, SRM, GRC, Business Objects, SAS
Proven analytical and problem-solving ability and strong sense of ownership
Excellent communication skills with ability to interact with leadership
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing, fast-paced environment
Detail oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize
Overall technical knowledge with ability to review and provide feedback on support documents
Should be able to communicate findings, proposals, designs, and analyses as required
Should be familiar with work intake and change control processes
