Education and Skills:
B.S. degree in Computer Science, or equivalent
Minimum of 5+ years software industry experience
Excellent communication, both written and verbal
Agile experience working in a globally distributed team
Ability to work across organizations to understand complex interaction between services
Experience guiding, coaching, and leading QA analysts
Expertise with hands-on scripting/coding experience in any automation testing tools (Selenium) and performance testing tools (Load runner and JMeter) is a must
Experience working with relational databases and transaction systems
Experience developing complex SQL queries for test data
Strong troubleshooting and critical-thinking skills
Experience in the following areas is required:
o Ecommerce and/or web domains
o Cross browser and cross platform testing
o REST/JSON APIs
o Mobile testing
Experience in the following areas is a plus:
o Git and CI tools
o NoSQL databases (Mongo)
o Cloud technologies (AWS preferred)
Duties and Responsibilities:
Drive testing automation for all existing systems / web properties
Develop automation test suites for Consumer facing web applications, API''s, and Database components
Recommend and implement technology, techniques, and tools in support of automation and elimination of manual testing
Oversee quality testing deliverables including validating the completeness, accuracy, and quality of test plans, execution, and test case results
Execute white box, black box, and manual testing when needed
Drive performance testing including gathering performance-testing requirements, setting performance parameters/metrics, development and execution of test scripts, and final review with stakeholders
Collaborate with the Product Owners & SMEs to perform detailed requirements analysis
Collaborate with development and operations teams to provision required test infrastructures and environments
Drive cross functional integration testing within Technology teams and with third parties
Troubleshoot production issues and monitor system stability
