We have an urgent requirement for Senior Quality Assurance Program Lead with our direct client
Position: Senior Quality Assurance Program Lead
Duration: 1 year with extension possible
Location: St Paul, MN
Interviews: In person
Sample Tasks:-
Create the Level of Effort (LOE) estimate for all testing activities within the project.
Support QA Project Leads in the creation of required QA artifacts as defined in the MNIT@DHS QA Methodology and Best Practice documents.
Provide leadership including work assignments to QA resources consisting of state staff and contractors.
Create, review, publish and maintain QA release testing schedule for highly complex multi-project releases.
Engage Release Management and the App Support Team in the execution of the release testing schedule.
Communicate, resolve and/or re-plan as issues arise that impact the QA release testing schedule.
Be the point of escalation for the QA resources. Resolve or escalate all challenges to the appropriate resource(s) in a timely manner.
Manage the overall scope of the testing effort at a release level.
Provide and maintain current and future capacity planning for resources to project demand.
Assist Program Management with change requests to current scoping as well as planning for future releases
Provide, in timely manner, status of assigned project when requested.
Communicate effectively, both verbally and written.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:-
Eight (8) years’ experience as a Quality Assurance Lead
A B.S. or B.A. Degree (4 year) substitutes for four years of experience, or an Associate’s Degree (2 year) substitutes for two years of experience.
Five (5) engagements/projects lasting a minimum of three (3) months each in a Quality Assurance Analyst role.
Desired Skills:-
Experience leading the QA efforts at a release level for highly complex individual projects where each individual project has significant technical and business impact on the other projects in the release.
Experience day to day leading of QA team (40+ resources), including work direction, training, project assignments and scheduling of tasks.
Experience with future resource capacity planning, estimating level of effort and duration for projects.
Experience partnering with Program Management, Project Managers, Supervisors, Managers and Development in planning release work, estimating, problem resolution and escalation of issues.
Experience with IBM Cúram solution for healthcare reform and downstream integrated systems that consume or use the Curam data.
