Job Description :
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES.
Develop automated functional tests using Selenium, Cucumber, Protractor, and other modern testing frameworks
Create and document test plans, test data, test cases, and automated scripts to ensure functional coverage and quality for APIs, web applications, and client-server applications
Implement tools and techniques supporting robust automation for web applications and services, deployments, and running test suites
Perform web, API, functional, regression, load, and end-to-end testing
Write SQL queries to perform database validations
Identify, document, and track all software defects to closure and implement process improvements
Work with product and engineering teams to reduce error rates and perform root cause analysis of errors and trends
Partner with DevOps to utilize automation and run test suites as part of Continuous Integration
Create practical solutions using Agile and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) methodologies
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and testing web applications
Experience with XML, JSON, HTML, CSS, PHP, REST, SOAP, and Responsive Web Designs
Prior experience with Selenium Webdriver or Cucumber
Solid understanding of Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) or Test-Driven Development (TDD)
Ability to analyze and understand complex functional and systems requirements
Knowledge of could-based testing
Experience with server-side scripting languages
