Description:
10+ experience senior project manager
Individual must be a go-getter. Independent, vocal, directive and excel under pressure.
Responsible for managing one or more highly complex Cloud migrations, product migrations or enterprise-wide IT program(s) consisting of multiple projects.
Develops the project strategy, supporting business case and various enterprise-wide high-level project plans to establish cloud migration strategies, product migration and decommission, legacy decommissions and cloud reporting.
Ensures integration of Cloud projects and adjusts project scope, timing, and budgets as needed, based on the needs of the business.
Projects will cover all aspects of cloud engineering including capacity management, implementation of cloud tools, scaling continuous delivery, security, site reliability engineering and product migrations
Communicates with IT leadership, business leadership and IT Business Consultants to communicate project strategy, direction and changes.
Responsible for delivering all projects contained in the IT project portfolio on time, within budget and meeting the strategic and business requirements.
Responsible for tracking key project milestones and recommending adjustments to stakeholders.
Partners with senior leadership of the business community to identify and prioritize opportunities for utilizing IT to achieve the goals of the enterprise.
Must possess extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of Project Management methodologies and tools.
Responsible for managing all aspects of a project(s) to drive cloud migration and IT transformation.
The individual will work with the IT, Infrastructure and Product management organization to establish migration goals and Senior Executives across the corporation to develop the program(s) and metrics for success.
The individual will matrix to PMO, and work across the corporation in program development, executive alignment, and program execution.
The individual will work closely with the team to ensure the program status is tracked, monitored and reported in accordance with the plan.
The project manager will demonstrate broad knowledge of the Cloud.
The individual must possess program/project management skills, presentation preparation skills, executive communication skills, strategic thinking ability and must be able to quickly identify and communicate potential program concerns.
