Job Title: Senior PWB Designer
Location: California - San Jose
Duration: 12 months (possible extension up to next 24 months)

Job Overview:
The successful candidate will provide design solutions in either of two areas. The first will be in support of reference handset and 'form factor accurate' (FFA)circuit boards. These boards require mastery in digital processors, RF and radio circuits as well as power control devices. Experience with micro-vias (stacked), sequential lamination stack-ups and design rules using .5mm pitch and smaller packages is desirable. Another area of support would be with large/high density digital designs such as Emulators and SURF (Reference) designs. These designs have high layer counts (24-34 layers) and usually contain several FPGA's (>1500 pins) along with very high speed digital signals.
Minimum Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have a minimum 10-15 years experience in PWB design. Experience with one or more of the following CAD tools is desired: xDx Designer/Xpedition VX.1.1, PADS VX.1.2, Allegro 16.5 with Concept HDL or OrCAD CIS. The candidate will be well versed in all aspects of PWB Design including schematic capture, layout and design, and documentation and design check.
Preferred Qualifications:
DFM checking experience using Valor is a plus.
Education:
Preferred: Associate's or equivalent experience
