Job Title: Senior PHP Developer
Location: Fort Mill, SC
Duration: 6 Months
Note:- Phone and In-person
The Senior PHP Developer will be responsible for full stack application development and data cleansing initiatives using technologies to include PHP, Laravel, API integrations, Linux, and SQL Server.
Five years of application development experience in PHP
Experience using Laravel framework (nice to have but not required)
Experience developing and ingesting 3rd party API integration
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop new features and alter existing PHP, JavaScript, HTML & CSS code to accommodate growing business needs and integration with new technologies and APIs.
Write cron jobs as needed, read logs and troubleshoot existing code.
Write complex MS SQL Server & MySQL queries.
Optimize for both front and back end performance as needed.
Design and Implement complex backend algorithms.
Create and code elegant frontend UIs with a focus on a more pleasant user experience and increasing online conversion.
Push often and fast. We keep a fast-moving environment with continuous deployment.
Create new processes and programming practices which increase efficiency and decrease time to market of features on our e-commerce platform(s
Requirements:
Flexible, creative, technical and analytical.
Write clean, readable, PHP code as an object-oriented language.
Familiarity with PHP template languages such as Smarty, Blade and Liquid.
Familiarity with Larval and other MVC frameworks.
Practical experience with Git.
Strong experience developing rich UX/UI products.
MySQL, Experience with SEO / SEM, Very strong HTML knowledge.
Knowledge of Unix / Linux system administration.
Ability to present technical information in non-technical terms to co-workers and management.
