Project Description:
We need a Senior Network Engineer to support ResMed in San Diego, CA. This position will have occasional travel.

The scope of work will encompass below activities:
Driving the design, innovation, and advancement of the internal MPLS networks for ResMed Americas.
Responsible for staying abreast of emerging network technologies and analyzing them for their potential to deliver heightened services and solutions to our business, customers, and patients.
Responsible for managing campus LAN network design and optimization.
Responsible for design, implementation, and engineering oversight of enterprise firewall deployments and leading enterprise micro-segmentation initiatives.
Consulting the management and architecture staff to analyze requirements for information management and functional operations, to determine scope and priority of projects, and to discuss system capacity and equipment acquisitions for the ResMed Americas region.
Support the development, implementation, installation, and operation of information and functional systems for the organization.
Provide general technical guidance and mentors junior level network administrators/ engineers in the department.
Assist as needed with negotiations and contracts with consultants, technical personnel, and vendors for services and products for America''s offices.
Keep management and architecture staff informed through regular communication of network health and its ability to deliver business needs and meet overall demand.
Troubleshooting and handling Network operation escalations from business and application teams.
Help define and build standard operating procedures and work instructions for Network tasks and assign to operations team.
