Senior Network Engineer
6 Month C2H
Binghamton, NY - A face to face interview will be require

Client is looking for a Network Engineer that has 8 years’ experience supporting Cisco equipment and architecture in a distributed environment. You will also need to have 5 years’ experience performing network planning, design, and optimization of a Cisco network.
Additional experience will include
5 years working with Cisco routers, including 4300s and 4500 types and experience with Cisco security gear, wireless networks/WAPs, Mobile Device Management
Our client is also looking for proficiency with the following skills
Experience with wireless networks and WAPs
Experience with Mobile Device Management
Experience with Wireless Security for multiple devices
Experience with Broadband and Wide area infrastructures is required
A plus if knowledgeable in the following disciplines: MPLS and AVPN
8 years of experience in engineering support, implementation, and ongoing support of network infrastructure, specifically Cisco equipment and architecture in a distributed environment
5 years of experience performing network planning, design, and optimization of a Cisco network
5 years of experience working with Cisco routers to include 4300s and 4500 types
Multiples years of experience in configuring Cisco Nexus switches
Intermediate-level experience with VoIP highly preferred
Intermediate experience with Cisco security gear is required, specifically ASA firewalls is highly preferred
