Senior Java Developer
Immediate requirement for a dedicated and talented Senior Java Developer to support suite of applications for the Card Services division.
Responsible for Break/Fix Analysis, develop and implementation to ensure production applications are available as defined by the SLA.
Ideally this person should have been from a solid JAVA/J2EE development background (50%), done support work (50%
Mandatory Qualifications:
* Requires 8 years of related experience in hands on application production support and have prior programming/development background
* Expert in Core JAVA, J2EE
* Strong knowledge and experience in SOAP, JSP, REST and other web technologies
* Strong knowledge of Spring, IBM MQ, IBM Websphere and Microsoft SQLServer
* Must be very hands on and ready to wear several hats – Senior Developer, L3 production Support
* Working knowledge of Maven, Gradle
* Good understanding of Middleware architecture and UNIX application servers
* High level expertise in the implementation, support and troubleshooting of production environments
* Responsible for support of a production application, including taking a root cause approach to problem solving
* Advanced troubleshooting and deductive reasoning skills
* Ability to converse in both technical and non-technical terms to both novice and more proficient system users
