Position: Senior Hyperion Smart View/Essbase Financial Reporting Consultant
Location: Chicago, IL

· The reporting solution is comprised of the following key components:
o Workday Financials source data, grain is monthly balance level
o MS SSIS for ETLs
o MS SQL Server dimensional DataMart
o Essbase Cubes
o Excel and Oracle Essbase SmartView plug-in
· Responsibilities
o Develop SmartView Reports in Excel using SmartView
o Develop key reports, along with automation and templates to enable reporting with rollups of the Account Detailed P&L and accounting reports
o Collaborate closely with Essbase Technical Lead and Project Manager to structure approach to report build-out, understand cube design, and ensure best practices necessary to minimize report proliferation
o Work closely with project Architect and Business Lead to understand reporting requirements, design reviews prior to development, and code/build walk throughs
o Develop custom formatting, automation and maintenance scripting in Excel
Provide automated creation of reports based on parameterization
