Role:- Senior Hyperion Consultant Exp with PeopleSoft

Duration:- 6 Month C2H
Job Description:
Major Retail company has an immediate need for a Senior Hyperion Software
Engineer. This role is offered on a contract-to- hire basis. Consultant is
responsible for working with a team of developers and business analysts and
assisting with the creation and maintenance of software applications.
Designs and programs various software applications according to project
specifications required by multiple departments in accordance with company
standards. Must be able to analyze and correct both Hyperion and PeopleSoft
issues.
* Work within the IT organization and partner with Business Analysts
and Project Managers on strategic initiatives within the organization
* Building and managing relationships with key functional business
units
* Partner with key business units and project teams on solution
delivery, testing, and requirements
* Manage the day-to-day functions of the Hyperion environment
* Provide recommendations on system enhancements, process improvements
and new functionality
* Attends seminars and completes other training to remain current on
industry trends
* Performs other duties and/or special projects as assigned in
response to changing business conditions and/or requirements
* Ensuring all system changes are fully documented and the appropriate
user communities are trained prior to implementation and help desk turnover
* Provides after hours support to the business
Qualifications:
* Bachelor''s Degree & 8+ years of hands-on working experience with
Hyperion Planning and Essbase required
* Experience with MaxL scripts, calc scripts, business rules and web
forms
* ASO, BSO, Calculation Scripts, Rules, MDX
* Deep understanding of Financial Planning and Analysis including
budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting
* Must have knowledge of SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) required
* Experience with PeopleSoft 9.2 and PeopleCode, PeopleSoft Real
Estate Management required
* Functional knowledge of PeopleSoft Finance, Hyperion, Real Estate
Management is a plus
* Experience with Java scripting, UNIX scripting, .Net development,
Web and reporting services
* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), including
facilitation and team leadership
* Must be a self-starter, self-motivated and capable of working
independently or within a team
