Amitech Solutions is looking for a Senior Healthcare Consultant who can provide strong guidance and healthcare industry expertise to a large data warehouse / business intelligence project team by serving in a combination of roles as a Senior Healthcare Business Analyst, Quality Assurance Lead, and Scrum Master. Job Description:
Amitech is seeking a Senior Healthcare Business Analyst and Quality Assurance Lead to help propel our company to the next level of growth. The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications
Required Skills:
5-7 years as a business analyst in the healthcare industry with experience working in healthcare insurance and care management operations, preferably in a Medicaid environment.
Strong customer relationship skills with experience interfacing with front-line business users and operational leaders to uncover business information requirements, align project deliverables to business objectives, and build trusted relationships across an organization.
Demonstrated experience collaborating with technical and business teams to build data warehouse, reporting, dashboard, and analytics solutions.
Excellent communication skills that facilitate a true understanding of business value and explain how technical capabilities can solve business problems.
Experience leading and guiding a team of BI developers including peer reviews, task management, development methodologies, user acceptance testing, and coordinating project deliverables.
Prior experience producing report and data visualization mock-ups in Excel, PowerPoint, or other desktop tools based on requirements gathering interviews.
Some SQL experience and ability to do data profiling or data analysis is a plus.
Ability to understand data modeling concepts and how data models support business concepts and business metrics.
Strong experience working with healthcare membership and claims data.
Experience working with Agile development methodologies, writing and managing user stories, and acting as Scrum master.

Preferred Skills:
Experience with Trizetto QNXT, Apogee, and other health insurance applications.
Experience with MS Visual Studio Team Services or MS Team Foundation Server for user story and testing management.
Experience working in healthcare insurance / Medicare / Medicaid operations.
Experience with business process modeling, business architecture, and enterprise architecture.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Healthcare, Business Administration or related fields
