Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst
Multiple Locations: San Francisco, CA. / Pleasanton, CA
Duration: 12 Months

Job Description:
Reporting to the Assistant Financial Planning and Analysis Manager or the IT Finance Business Partner, the consultant is expected to act as a Senior Financial Analyst to provide ongoing help with forecasting and planning process.
The successful candidate will have the following knowledge, skills and abilities:
Experience in financial planning with experience in insurance industry or supporting an enterprise’s IT operation
Proficient knowledge and expertise in the use of Hyperion, Tableau and desktop information tools (e.g., Excel, MS Access, MS Visio, and PowerPoint)
Working knowledge and understanding of accounting principles (i.e. balance sheet and cash flows)
Working knowledge of strategic planning i.e. Objectives, goals, strategies and measures (OGSM) framework
Use, develop, and maintain financial models/reports/scenarios and financial reference tools
Proactively identify and analyze key drivers and cost trends
Capability to ‘tell the story’ and create insightful analytics and financial reviews through dashboards/scorecards
Research, analyze, and evaluate complex issues, data, and situations, interpret and apply laws/ regulations/ procedures/ guidelines, produce reports of the findings and outcomes, and to proactively make and support decisions, alternatives and recommendations where little previous analysis may be available
Work independently and as a team with co-workers and management to address and resolve issues
Adeptness to work on multiple projects and tasks and manage these deliverables
Exemplify superior attention to detail and a commitment to ensure that key decision data is accurate, automated and timely
Ability to take an ambiguous concept/task and complete in an effective way with minimal direction and improve processes and automate recurring analyses
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and easily build relationships across the organization and optimize those connections
