Education :
Bachelor''s Degree in Computer related field or equivalent experience
Required Cloud Technology Exposure:
Existing assets will need to migrate from data centers to public cloud.
Knowledge of AWS and Azure fundamental concepts such as account structures
Experience with cloud compute and storage offerings
Experience with cloud networking concepts such as VPCs, Vnets, VPC/Vnet peering, and Security Groups
Experience with Cloud WAN connectivity methods such as VPN, Direct Connect, and Express Route
Experience with cloud native L4-7 network services such as DNS and load balancing
Possess a security aptitude
Required Data Center Technology Experience:
Knowledge of Cisco switches and routers
Experience with ACLs and firewalls, such Checkpoint and Palo Alto
Knowledge of large scale data center networks including switching, routing and network services
Experience with Wide Area Network design and operation including peering, ISP options and best practices
Knowledge of IP fundamentals such as VLANs, Subnetting, and IPAM
Hands on working knowledge of load balancing with F5 LTMs and GTMs
Knowledge of proxy technologies such as Squid and Portus
Knowledge of internal and external DNS design and operation
Utilize network tools to monitor and troubleshoot network issues
Familiar with scripting and automation tools
Previous Experience
1-2 years AWS experience
8+ years’ experience working with Cisco technologies.
3+ years’ experience working other network technologies
