Our client is in need of 2 Senior ETL Developers for a 10 month role in Rolling Meadows, IL. (Must be local F2F interview required)
The Senior Developer will analyze and create complex SQL and SSIS /SSRS / SSAS artifacts as needed to support new and evolving data integration projects and data extracts. This is an expert level position; therefore, this person will serve as subject matter expert for Microsoft stack including SQL Server 2016 within the team. Must have experience with interacting with Microsoft support to trouble shoot complex problems.
Individuals in the category are expected to have experience working with ETL tools with multiple RDBMS environments on multiple platforms.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with Software engineering resources to deliver high quality deployments that meet department and customer expectations for quality and schedule.
Adheres to the organization’s established policies and procedures and assist in enhancing the deployment procedures and standards followed in the organization. Adhere to all ETL standards and architecture
Analyze and develop computer software possessing a wide range of capabilities supporting high volume data driven information systems
Develop database solutions on the Microsoft SQL Server 2016 platform using Microsoft stack technologies including SharePoint and Office 365
Analyze and create SSIS / SSRS/ SSAS as needed to support new and evolving data integration projects and data extracts.
Installation, configuration, and administration of ETL tools
Management and maintenance of ETL tools’ software releases
Source and target analysis
Monitor load process to ensure accurate data feeds
Analyze and create complex SQL Queries, database scripts, stored procedures, triggers etc. as well as troubleshooting and optimizing.
Ensure that the ETL requirements are adequately understood and documented
Design the ETL application architecture based on the documented requirements
Perform QA functions for the ETL application, including ensuring that system and integration test plans are developed and executed
Create technical design documentation which includes current and future functionality, database objects affected, specifications, and flows/diagrams to detail the proposed implementation.
Minimum Five years of experience is desired
Able to clearly communicate technical data to non-technical colleagues and clients.
Technical Skill Sets required:
BS degree in Computer Science, related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server stack (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS and BI Tools) as Data Analyst / SQL Programmer / Developer.
5+ years of experience writing SQL queries/ scripts/ stored procedures supporting complex applications and reports development.
5+ years’ experience with Microsoft SQL Server
5+ years software development experience in data driven information technology systems.
3+ years’ experience installing and configuring MS stack products such as SharePoint and Office 365
3+ years’ experience of hands on project experience as a database specialist
Significant hands-on experience in Agile/Scrum product development life cycles.
Demonstrated tactical skills combined with flexibility working in a dynamic, fast moving product development environment.
