In the role of Senior .Net SDET you will be responsible for building test frameworks and automated test suites for Desktop & HTLM5 applications. The applications are hosted on a proprietary App Portal platform. You will analyze production level issues and then build automated test scenarios to combat and uncover these issues before production releases. You are experienced to build automated tests for performance related issues (CPU Usage, Memory Leaks, Race Conditions), as well as automating critical customer workflows through the UI and the backend services. We will rely heavily on your expert level engineering experience and innovation to build stable automation tests in a heavily integrated software/system environment.
Responsibilities:
Build test frameworks and automated test suites for Desktop & HTLM5 applications hosted on an App Portal (proprietary platform
Demonstrate expert programming skills in C#, C++, and Javascript.
Demonstrate test automation strategies for performance related testing (CPU Usage, Memory Leaks, Race Conditions, etc
Collaborate and partner closely with Development teams to understand technical and business functionality.
Ability to clearly communicate project statuses.
Participate in Daily Scrum meetings to prepare tests for upcoming changes.
Be a self-starter, chase down blockers, and proactively finish projects in a timely manner.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree related to Computer Science / Information Systems/Software Engineering or equivalent experience in related roles.
8+ years automated testing experience as SDET with .Net and HTML5 Applications.
High level of experience automating performance level scenarios at the Client and Server layers.
Solid programming and Automation skills required C#, C++, and Javascript.
Knowledge of Web Application testing (Selenium
Experience collaborating with programmers and business authorities to automate critical workflows for testing.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
The ability to be agile and enthusiastic to passionately learn and work in a bold time sensitive environment.
Demonstrate confidence and ability to identify testing gaps.
Ability to effectively communicate with different levels of employees ranging from entry level to senior leadership.
Ability to multi task and shift priorities quickly.
Strong problem-solving skills, troubleshooting, and tracing root cause.
