Senior .Net Developer

Responsibilities
1. The Senior .NET Software developer is responsible for collaborating with the EOE/DESE Organization, Project Managers, Architect, Business Analysts, and Quality Assurance, in the process of creating software deliverables and artifacts.
2. As a member of the team, you must adhere to the organization’s methodologies and standards, and propose improvements based on software development best practices.
3. Daily usage of the following tools: Microsoft Visual Studio Professional 2017 and Team Foundation Server and SQL Server Management Studio
4. Participation in full software development lifecycle including requirements analysis and design, working closely with analyst, design and QA personnel
5. Strong knowledge in 3 tier Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
6. Solid experience with client-side JavaScript libraries.
7. Solid understanding of design patterns
8. Proactively raise issues and offer solutions.
9. Participate in daily scrum meeting to discuss current tasks and status.
10. Submit weekly status reports.
Education and Experience Level
1. Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree with a major in software engineering, computer science, information systems, or a related field.
2. Thorough knowledge of tools and processes used in the Software Development Lifecycle Process.
3. Proven track record working on large-scale projects with diverse stakeholders and with cross-functional teams.
4. 10+ years of experience as a full stack .
5. 10+ years developing three-tiered applications.
6. 10+ years of experience hands-on knowledge of SQL Server
7. 5+ years JavaScript frameworks/libraries (e.g. Angular JS)
8. Knowledge in OO development principles, multi-tier web application design and relational database principles
9. 5+ years working with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
10. Experience with Agile Scrum methodologies
11. Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn
12. Excellent written/verbal communication & documentation skills.
13. Experience related to K-12 education/curriculum standards would be a plus.
