Position: Senior Digital Analytics Engineer & Data Architect
Location: Charlotte, NC
Duration: 14+ months

Job Details:

As a key stakeholder in the digital analytics arena, your day-to-day responsibilities will include leading the development and design of tagging structures across digital platforms. Design & implementation with the appropriate granularity, and minimal system performance impacts, is critical. This includes assisting with the installation, configuration, administration, monitoring, maintenance, data governance and PII rigor of the tags in a tag management platform. Candidate will drive coordination with outside vendors and business partners. This person will also work as a senior member of the team to understand the needs of the business as a whole, its strategic direction and to identify initiatives that will allow the business to meet those goals. This involves driving the digital analytic tag development process, supporting Ally’s digital analytics platform, determining priorities, expanding the tagging structure and managing impacts to the analyst reporting.

Responsibilities Include:

Platform Support and Implementation: Must be able to lead a team to support, document, maintain and extend the functionality of client’s digital analytics tagging infrastructure/environment.
Vendor Management: Coordinate with multiple outside vendors across a variety of functions, such as: digital analytics, logging and session replay, tag management, and others. Work with vendors on system availability and performance, problem resolution, and data quality. Work with business partners & 3rd party vendors to expand tagging functionality and analytics deliverables
Data Architecture: Identify data quality issues, sensitive data integrity, navigate multiple data sources, and work to resolve data quality issues. Ability to design and create standards for data collection across multiple front-end and mobile technology platforms. Help automate the management and auditing of enterprise analytics systems and develop data integrity solutions.
Coordinate with Business Partners: Work across lines-of-business leads and analysts to take business requirements and effectively translate them into technical and functional deliverables. This extends from the requirements gathering sessions to tag maintenance in production across the enterprise.

Requirements:

You have a good understanding of Javascript w/real-world experience
You have worked with one, or many, digital analytics platforms, such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or other(s)
You have worked with one, or many, tag management systems, such as Google Tag Manager, Adobe Launch, Tealium iQ, or other(s)
You have a deep understanding of web technologies and frameworks
You are familiar with W3C standards
You enjoy working in a fast-paced work environment and overcoming technical and business challenges
