Job Description :
Provision new datacenter infrastructure footprint
Expand OCIC capacity
Continuous deployment to production environment for latest and greatest
Peer with development team to troubleshoot software application issue
Participate in on-call rotation to provide Tier3 support of production issues
Provide automated solution on all operational tasks (our goal is 100% automation)
Qualifications:
Demonstrable knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, distributed systems, and experience supporting multi-tier web application architectures in a
web scale environment
Solid understanding of application design, including the operational trade-offs of various designs
Solid understanding of Unix/Linux internals
Demonstrated coding skills in Python and Bash
Prior experience in versioning control tools, git is preferred
Prior experience in collaborating tools, such as JIRA and Confluence
Prior experience in administration of database systems
Prior experience in Configuration Management such as Chef, Puppet or others
Prior experience in using Cloud Provider Service such as Client Public Cloud, Amazon Web Service, Microsoft Azure or Google
Compute Engine
5+ years experience in production service trouble-shooting that spans applications, systems and network
BS/MS in CS or Engineering
