Senior Developer – Spark/Hadoop

o Have 1+ years of experience on Apache Spark with Data Science background & overall should have 8+yrs of IT experience
o Experience of Retail domain will be an added advantage
o Should have very good development knowledge on Java & J2EE technologies.
o Should have experience on Apache Spark/Hadoop with Data Science background
o Proven track record of development experience on JAVA based technologies in multiple phases
o Proven experience of end to end Development and implementation experience
o Experienced in industry standard Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
o Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
o Ability to work with other interface development team to understand code changes and review business requirements to match development activity and identify any gaps
o Ability to work in a multi-team environment and communicate with people from diverse cultural backgrounds and from all levels within the organization
o Analysis of new requirements (business requirements, system change requests and technical change requests) or defects, business impacts, work prioritization and estimation.
o Prepare Functional and Technical design specifications.
o Conduct design / review code meetings.
o Code and unit test various artifacts in JAVA based technologies
o Code Review and Integration Testing.
o Ability to take business requirements and develop functional design and help in technical design.
o Demonstrate a proven record of timely execution and delivery.
o Ability to ensure quality of the delivered components.
o Strong oral and written communications skills
o Work creatively and analytically in a fast-pace
o Be extremely proactive and independent
o Offshore co-ordination for construction and testing of defects/BRs, review and code delivery
o Be a value addition to the team to collaborate and achieve success by completing project goals
