This is for an exciting position working with various development teams, building the tools to enable developers to do their jobs faster, better and easier.
10+ years of experience within information technology
5+ years of experience developing software in at least one of the following: C, C++, Python, Perl, Java
5+ years industry experience in software development organizations
Ability to synthesize requirements underlying feature requests, recommend alternative technical and business approaches, and facilitate engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines.
Experience with Unix/Linux/Windows development/deployment environments.
Experience with system performance analysis and optimization.
Strong focus on operational excellence. Track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects.
Expertise in automation, software processes, web services, multi-tiered systems, and application integration.
Demonstrated ability in creating custom tools/solutions for automating and streamlining manual/repetitive processes
Strong data analysis skills
Expertise with at least on version control tool like Git.
Extensive Development experience with applications technologies like Weblogic Application server, WLST (Weblogic Scripting Tool), Axis2C, Spring frameworks, Apache httpd, JAX-RS, JPA, Apache Tomcat, LDAP, JDBC, XML, cloud computing (AWS, Azure, etc)
Extensive experience with development tools/editors like gcc, GDB, Eclipse, vi.
Experience with network packet analyser like Wireshark.
Experience with DevOps tools/technologies like Jenkins, Docker, PCF, Artifactory, SonarQube, Ansible, BitBucket, Slack, Maven, Gradle, Groovy, Kubernetes
Familiarity with application operations monitoring tools like ExtraHop, Wily, HP BSM, Splunk, AppDynamics, Grafana.
Familiarity with Database tools like Toad, SQL, Oracle 11g.
Familiarity with infrastructure concepts.
Practical experience of managing onsite and offshore product development engagements.
