This notice is being posted in connection with an application concerning the employment of one or more alien

Responsibilities

Serve as primary resource to collect, integrate, analyze and manage data from multiple areas and disparate systems
to support divisional processes and decision-making for the division, including data integration, performing complex
queries over large collections of clinical research data, and developing and maintaining key performance metrics for
the division; Analyzes, develops, designs, implements and maintains new and existing divisional databases,
including assessing requirements, reviewing database design, data modeling, technical documentation, and
ensuring database security and consistency of standards, procedures and content to coordinate protocol research
information management of assigned tasks within the Division of Cancer Predisposition with independent decision-
making authority as defined by the Principle Investigators and the Division Director; Design and manage division’s
data collection and sharing resources, to assemble, manipulate, analyze, and disseminates data; Provides divisional
clinical and research reporting and analysis, including relevant data queries, acquisition and analysis; Advise, train
and assist department personnel in the use of databases and other software, including developing training materials
and leading formal and informal training sessions; Provides support for division’s hardware and software requests;
Examine, diagnose, correct, and troubleshoot hardware and software issues. Work Location: Memphis, Tennessee.
Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.

Minimum Education

Requires either a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business or Health Administration,
Management Information Systems, or related field.

Minimum Experience

With Bachelor’s degree: Requires five (5) years of related progressive professional experienceWith Master’s degree:
Requires three (3) years of related progressive professional experience

 

This position also requires experience or education in each of the following:

Use of relational database management tools and query language, such Hyperion, Oracle, SQL programming (e.g. -
SQL*Plus), Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Access, and other data mining, query and analysis tools;• Microsoft Office
(Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and statistical software skills;• Skills in one or more traditional database and
object-oriented programming languages (e.g. – FORTRAN, Basic, PL/SQL, Visual Basic, C++);• Knowledge of
client/server design principles;• Knowledge of network and/or distributed computing environments;• Knowledge of
object-oriented analysis and software design;• Ability to extract and analyze various types of data;• Knowledge of
supporting and troubleshooting of hardware and software systems.Employer will accept any suitable combination of
