Job Description :
The Senior Data Integration Engineer’s role is to strategically design and implement data integration across the organization, while ensuring high levels of data availability and accuracy. This role is responsible for defining standards and models for data integration. The Senior Data Integration Engineer will play a key role in the modernization of the data integration process, leveraging knowledge and experience with ''big data'' technologies and experience with traditional data platforms.

Assess and cultivate long-term strategic goals for data integration development in conjunction with end users, managers, clients, and other stakeholders, so that the enterprise data warehouse is considered the source of truth.
Analyze user requirements and, based on findings, design functional ETL specifications that support reporting, data analysis, database applications, invoicing, and other processes.
Design and deploy data table structures, ETL jobs, PL/SQL packages and procedures, in support of data integration and accuracy.
Conduct research and make recommendations on data integration products, services, protocols, and standards in support of procurement and development efforts.
Develop automated processes, where necessary, using applicable database packages or tools, to provide ongoing reconciliation of ETL process from source to destination.
Identify inefficiencies in current data integration and leverage solutions; not limited to optimization for PL/SQL, or current ETL jobs.
Diagnose and resolve data integration performance issues, as they are impacted by ETL process
Provide documentation of all data integration processes for monitoring team, as part of deployment, and be available for level three support when requested.
Apply best practices for source code control, testing and deployment.
Mentor and/or provide leadership to junior members of the team.

Basic Requirements:
Bachelor degree in computer science, information systems, or computer engineering or related field or equivalent experience
5 years of experience in related, progressive roles
Working technical experience with developing, installing, configuring and supporting multi-terabyte database environments via data integration processes.
Hands-on experience with the process and technologies used for modeling data in motion as well as data at rest across various formats and platforms like XML, JSON, traditional relational databases and schema on read platforms like HADOOP
Experience with various data platforms, including Oracle (Exadata), Hadoop, and Microsoft SQL Server,.
Experience with ETL tools, such as Datastage, RedPoint, Talend, or Spark streaming.
Experience with design applications, including SQL Developer Studio, Microsoft Visual Studio, Erwin, etc.
Familiarity with in-house data-intensive applications, including Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services, Microsoft SQL Server Analytic Services, Tableau, etc.
Experience with data processing flowcharting techniques.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a team-oriented, Agile-based environment
Good knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws
