Responsibilities in more detail:
Understanding advertising ecosystem including page level tags, high impact ads, inventory set up and campaign delivery in order to ensure we are capturing, optimizing and monetizing the audience segments across the client portfolio of sites
Multiple source system knowledge for Digital Ads and Publisher Operations: DFP, Google Analytics, Omniture, 3rd Party data, Household/Address level data, CRM/Salesforce, etc.
Experience with both digital and print advertising products and ecosystems.
Ability to lead a project, from source system to packaging results for audience/end users.
Requirements gathering
Strong SQL and data automation skills: Ability to load, QC, and transform source system data. Some experience working with APIs and recurring procedures
Review raw/transformed data with internal and external teams to ensure accuracy of analytical outputs
Comfort with analytical approaches and models: basic statistical models and time series analysis
R, Python, Excel Stats Package
Work with data visualization or dashboards, build regular insights on monthly/quarterly frequency
Assist in established ETL or data transfer processes.
Owning day to day reporting of Audience targeted products and campaign performance
Ability to come up with out-of-the-box ideas that will help us to increase scale of high performing in-demand audience segments without increasing cost and complexity
Leading education around any and all audience data related inquiries internally
Keep up to date with emerging digital technologies, and assess their relevance to our products and revenue strategy
5+ years within Digital or Publisher space
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA a plus
Highly motivated, results-oriented and proactive, with an ability to prioritize and manage several projects at once
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Exceptional written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills required
Ability to gain consensus and drive projects forward in a fast-paced, challenging environment
