Position Overview
We''re looking for an experienced and talented Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join the Client Cloud Services team at Client. In this role you''ll be working on various projects for an array of applications taking advantage of emerging Cloud Technologies to provide improved application resiliency and the ability for customers to self-serve.
Responsibilities
? Possess the following qualities: mentoring and coaching, driving projects to completion, planning and architecting, excellent interpersonal skills.
? Design, develop and deliver scalable and automated services and architecture - Infrastructure as code.
? Architect, design and implement solutions with AWS Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), AWS Cloudfront and other AWS products
? Ensure success in building and migrating applications, software and services on the AWS platform
? Develop APIs to simplify service consumption by end-users and engineers
? Create software delivery pipelines for various enterprise customers and services
? Enable resilience and high availability for numerous platforms, from bleeding-edge cloud applications to on-premise legacy environments
? Ensure full-stack software solutions are architected and delivered using industry-leading DevOps best practices and technologies
? Collaborate to define best practices and standards around DevOps and service resilience
? Create reusable automation libraries that can be applied across the enterprise
? Determine HA/DR, Security, Capacity, and Compliance strategies for existing and new applications
? Develop usage standards, user self-service designs, and reporting on application KPIs
? Create solutions to generate metrics to facilitate a deep understanding of the service
? Optimize and support our existing public cloud and some data center based solutions and workloads in preparation for migration to the cloud
? Participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud
? Troubleshoot production issues and perform on-call duties
? Mentoring junior team members
? Collaboration with other Technology groups within the organization.

Minimum Qualifications
? AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate - current, ability to obtain Professional level within 6 months.
? 5+ years building full-stack software solutions, architected and delivered using industry-leading DevOps best practices and technologies
? 5+ Experience with Agile concepts and practices.
? Hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, VPC, Route 53, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, ECS, and IAM)
? Hands-on experience with Orchestration tools (Chef, Puppet, Jenkins, Docker, etc
? Deep understanding of security best practices and standards around cloud computing and access management
? Hands-on experience with most of the following: Python, Java, Go, C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node.js, shell scripting (Windows/*nix), Micro-services and RESTful web services
? Intermediate experience with various database technologies (NoSQL, SQL, Mongo, Cassandra) and AWS DB services (Aurora, RDS, DynamoDB, Redshift, ElastiCache) and data interchange formats (XML, JSON),
? Experience with the following technologies or their respective equivalent:
? Containerization - Docker, Kubernetes
? Packer
? StackStorm
? Splunk
? Terraform
Preferred Qualifications
? Bachelor''s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related quantitative field
Minimum Education Requirement
Bachelor''s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related quantitative field.
Role can be remote, they do not need to sit onsite in a Client office.
Specific hours does not matter, as long as PST, MDT, CT, or EST.
Travel needed for training to Cenn, CO Office about two weeks long. Day 1 would need to arrive to Cenn, CO office for training.
