Position : Business Analyst (Scrum Master)
Location: Harrison, NY
Type : Contract
Duration : Long Term

Responsibilities

Required Skills

1. Experience being the Scrum Master for at least 7 to 10 years for a Scrum team
2. Experience being on multiple Scrum teams in a variety of different contexts (different team sizes, different organizations, different cultures, co-located vs. distributed)
3. Experience with assisting a historically waterfall team and organization with adopting Scrum. (Transformation expertise)
4. Knowledge and/or experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, BDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing
5. Experience applying a wide variety of well documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach(example: numerous Burn down techniques, numerous Retrospective formats, handling bugs)
6. Good skills and knowledge of facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency

Desired Skills

1. Knowledge of scaled agile frameworks such as the Scaled Agile Framework for the Enterprise (SAFe)
2. Knowledge of other approaches discussed in the Agile space such as XP & Kanban
3. Applicable knowledge of the technologies used by the team
4. Previous experience as a collaborative leader
5. Excellent communication and mentoring skills

6. Ability to lead technical project, programming background will be huge plus. B
