Role: Senior Business Analyst
Location: Quincy, MA
Duration: 6 month+ contract

Description:
- Gather system requirements for benefit adjudication service including benefit selection, benefit inquiry and code inquiry.
- Work with business users to define and analyze problems and align the most appropriate technical, application or configuration solutions.
- Conduct business process analyses, needs assessments and preliminary cost/benefit analyses in an effort to align information technology solutions with business initiatives.
- Create, review and deliver end-user documentation (user guide, process flow charts and training materials) and training for accuracy.
- Operations support including research and analysis into system processing issues.
- Respond to inquiries from various areas of the organization involving claims adjudication or operation processing flows.
- Business rule requirements gathering.
- Root cause analysis.
- Ability to create functional requirements. - Must have excellent oral and written communication skills as candidate will be interacting with HPHC Sr Leadership. - Outgoing self starter not afraid to ask questions. - Ability to create process flows and other artifacts related to workflow and processing guidelines. - The work environment is an open, bullpen setting, however each person has their own individual space with their own desk. - Approximately 10 team members sit in the area currently. - The team is very cross-functional and interacts frequently with each other to share knowledge. - There is no formalized training program so all training is on-the-job, hit the floor running. The candidate needs to be willing to ask questions & not sit on the sidelines in order to get themselves up to speed. - The candidate needs to be creative & comfortable with asking questions from all levels & all skill sets of individuals.

Top 3 Must Have Skills = 1. previous experience in requirements gathering; 2. UAT involvement or some type of testing involvement or has worked with a testing team as part of their business analysis work; 3. Familiar with process flows or Visio Work Flow Diagramming
Preferred Skill Sets = Previous Healthcare experience
