Position: Senior Bigdata Engineer with Architecture
Location: Plano, TX
Duration: 6+ months
Job description:
Minimum 10 years of progressive deployment experience related to Big Data, analytics, data analysis, data design and development.
Experience in designing and developing distributed systems for real time and batch processing.
Technically-inclined, and can get into the details of data and engineering problems to understand the pros and cons of different designs.
Analyzing customer data needs, creating an end-to-end vision of the integrated data/systems landscape and developing the data infrastructure design
Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills with clear understanding of business and how value is created with technical solutions.
Must have prior experience working with globally distributed offshore teams. Should have ability to work with members of globally distributed teams who are considered both front office and back office personnel.
Must have experience working with – one or more Hadoop distribution (HDP, Cloudera, MapR, etc, Cassandra, HTTP, Kafka, MQTT, Celery, etc. Collecting, processing and ingesting high speed and large volume telemetry/IoT data.
Experience in collecting and processing camera, RADAR/LIDAR data.
Bonus – experience in working on ADAS features in auto
