Job Description :
Responsible for the design, development, implementation, and support of mission critical Business Intelligence reports, KPI’s and Dashboards; Works on a project team in support of production support; works closely with internal and external clients, business analysts and other team members to understand business requirements; Develops and integrates application software, including unit testing and implementation efforts; maintains and support software implementation
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
Works independently to exercise independent decision making; Collaborates with cross-functional teams in order to gather and document reporting requirements
Translates business requirements into specifications that will be used to implement the required reports and dashboards
Creates deliverables from multiple data sources
Design, develops, tests and implements reports and dashboards that utilize the underlying data store(s) of the enterprise
Creates deployment plans which promote developed reports and dashboards from development environments to higher environments
Define, design, implement and support of SAP Business Objects Enterprise Suite, including Crystal Reports, Xcelsius (Dashboard), Web Intelligence, Data federator, etc.
Ensures proper configuration management and change controls are implemented
Provide technical assistance and cross training to other team members; Provide training and assistance to users for generation of adhoc-reports
Design and implement technology best practices, guidelines and repeatable processes
Prepares and presents status updates on various projects
Performs other duties as required
Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in programming/systems or computer science (preferred), specialized training, certification, and at least four or more years of programming experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Microsoft MCSD (Certified Solutions Developer) (preferred only for Distributed Developers)
Requires understanding of programming principles
