Description:
Biopharmaceutical marketing teams are launching new products, websites, and campaigns. We need marketing-savvy project managers who can organize and drive fast-paced website builds and other commercial technology projects.
Team manages website implementations, changes, and releases for marketing teams who are engaging healthcare providers about treatments and patients about services that help them treat illness. Brand teams advise on strategy. Creative agencies design and create content. Development teams code and test site enhancements. Hosting providers manage the release.
You are the go-to person making sure all of these website activities go live according to plan.
During the first 15 days, you’ll be introduced to marketing teams and agency partners and quickly get up to speed on business plans and projects. Day to day activities will include project management and oversight of progress from stakeholders, proactive planning and risk mitigation to keep deliverables on track, communications and to step in and problem solve or support on occasion where warranted throughout a project’s lifecycle.
Consult across marketing teams on needs and work with creative agencies and technology suppliers to implement brand website activities.
Oversee coordinated work streams to deliver website creative designs, content creation, coding, analytics tagging and interfaces with other systems or services (e.g. registration forms
Manage initiatives, ensuring success of critical activities such as: Development of project plan and schedule, Escalation and mitigation of issues and risks, Consistent communication of status of projects and requests, Appropriate prioritization of critical path tasks, Development of test plan in partnership with technology and marketing stakeholders, Management of clients expectations, project deliverables and milestones are met.
Plan and facilitate discussions/sessions to elicit and translate marketing needs into project plans and web technology solutions.
Assess the impacts that new marketing requests or data changes may have on project plans. Understand, leverage, define best practices and guidelines that can be leveraged across teams.
Qualifications:
Very organized self-starter. Can put a plan together and execute. Understands marketing technology and information, especially websites. Project and vendor management skills with impeccable communications.
Experience using or delivery marketing related technologies and services, such as websites, social media, consumer relationship management, digital channels, marketing analytics, etc.
Relationship building, customer relationship and customer service skills.
Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills (i.e. effectively promote and negotiate business cases or ideas; influence stakeholders using data and insights
Proven problem solving and analytical thinking capability.
Experience collaborating and achieving results across highly matrixed organization, including non-technical stakeholders, compliance teams, IS services, and vendors.
Ability to quickly understand new business processes and to recognize the relevant business questions associated with a business process.
Experience in facilitating requirements gathering for complex solutions that involve multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
Experience in delivery of technical solutions spanning across different platforms, i.e., desktop, mobile devices and tablets.
Some experience within bio/pharma industry.
