Barrister Global Services Network Inc. is currently looking for a motivated, highly detailed, organized and outgoing individual to support one of our major nationwide clients. The successful applicant should be able to quickly adapt their knowledge to the current IT environment and be able to enhance the current systems in place. They should also possess excellent verbal and written communication skills so as to be understood by technical and non-technical personnel.

Job Summary :

For a candidate that wants to fill in the position of Project Manager he or she needs to be experienced in managing full life-cycle projects, including schedule, budget, risk/issue management and status reporting to various levels of the organization. This position shares responsibility for planning, directing, and coordinating activities pertaining to technology projects for a given business unit. You will need ensure that project goals are accomplished and in line with business objectives and monitor project activities.


The Applications Development Manager will be responsible for the following:

Project timelines and budgets for multiple phases of projects across the grant;
Take care of any documents or clarifications as required for state and federal approvals;
Project management plan that includes detailed documentation defining the project planning, organization, and implementation steps associated with the deployment process;
Project Control and Change Control processes (issue log, change log);
Risk Management Plan (risk register, risk tracking, mitigation and issue tracking);
Budget and Financial Management including Cost Analysis/ Cost Benefits;
Program Quality Assurance Plans for conformity to requirements;
Periodic status reports detailing accomplishments, tasks in progress, issues, and risks.




Requirements :

7+ years of experience coordinating installation planning and implementations of hardware and software solutions.
5+ years of experience in assembling project plans and teamwork assignments, tracking project milestones, and identifying resources to meet the needs of the project
3+ years of experience with large and high-profile projects in multiple technologies and functions environment
Experience with projects in a program environment (i.e., multiple interrelated and coordinated projects) led by a Program Manager
Ability to work with other project managers and under the leadership of a Program Manager
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Visio, and Word


Preferred :

Proficiency with Daptiv is desirable.

Employment Type: Contractor (10 months)
