Job Summary :

We are looking for a flexible, team-player who can work well with both technical and non-technical resources The Software Quality Analyst is a technology professional in the QA field who is responsible for defining, creating and executing testing scenarios. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, reviewing functional requirements, writing test scripts/scenarios to verify stated and implied requirements, execution of test scripts/scenarios and defect tracking and resolution. In this position you will collaborate with the Product Management and Engineering teams to identify functional and regression test strategies. You will coordinate efforts of team members and, with Software Quality Architect as well as the Project manager will develop and manage project timelines. Software Quality Analyst will be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the projects/products he/she works on and will be a source of guidance for other engineering team members.


Essential Job Functions:

Test Analysis and Test Design
Author test script
Author test scenarios
Author QA Plans,
Execute test script and test scenarios
Manage defects
Incorporate DOE (Design of Experiment) requirements into software development and testing
Coordinate and discuss functional testing and regression testing with Product Management and Engineering
Design and generate automated test scripts using various automated tools;
Provide regular status updates to the Software Quality Architect
Demonstrate a high degree of quality and attention to detail for test script / scenario authoring and execution
Work closely with Product Management and Engineering from the time an issue is logged to the time an issue is resolved



Requirements :

US citizenship required
4+ years experience with test automation tools
4+ years experience in a software QA/QC environment
4+ years experience with web based application software
1+ years experience working in an Agile environment
1+ year experience in logistics area
4+ years experience testing in a multi-platform environment
Have working experience with service-oriented architecture (SOA)
Have a good understanding of BDD/TDD concepts
Experience testing RESTful web services
Experience with GitHub
Proven expertise in developing integration and API level testing
Thorough understanding of development and testing life cycles (SDLC/STLC) practices and tools
Experience with test data, data testing/data warehouse
Experience interpreting and analyzing stories or requirements to create effective scenarios
Experience creating SQA validation artifacts
Expert user of MS Word and Excel

SKILLS AND CERTIFICATIONS

QA/QC environment
working in an Agile environment
web based application software - API level testing







Preferred :

Four-year college degree in computer science, engineering or applied mathematics preferred
Knowledge of and experience using AWS preferred
Experience working with Document management systems preferred
