Job Description :
Job ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITY –



· Experience with installation/upgrade of on premise software packages with User Entity Behavioral Analysis package experience a plus.

· Understands infrastructure and networking basics, active directory, LDAP, DNS, SSL, Linux, Windows, etc.

· Experience working within a Big Data Hadoop platform.

· Familiarity with using Splunk or other log aggregation tool as a data source with SQL skills a plus.

· High level system validation skills. (basic verification that system functionality appears to be working as expected including application security

· Application decommissioning skills a plus.

· Understands concepts of role based security.

· Familiar with concepts of single sign on.

· Familiarity with Amazon Web Services private cloud hosting.

· Understands back up strategies and Data Retention

· SDLC Documentaion

· Testing

· Vendor, Platform Co-ordination



Minimum Qualification :



· Able to self-manage as well as work with Merck internal staff and business partners facilitating activities, resolving or escalating issues and setting own work priorities necessary to meet project deadlines.

· Strong communication skills able to set language to the level appropriate for target audience (technical and/or business, management and/or peer, internal and/or Merck partner

· Able to provide periodic status reporting include issues, progress, risks.

· Ability to create/update SDLC documentation and artifacts (Quality Assurance Plans, Requirements Specification, Design Specifications, Functional Test Logs, Traceability Matrices, Test Strategy, Quality Assurance Summary, etc

· Familiar and able to successfully deliver within a heavily matrixed large global organization.
