Job Description :
As a Sales Engineer at Cybersecurity Startup, you will be responsible for providing pre and post sales engineering support to “Cybersecurity Startup” business development and account management team. Must be able to establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle.

Responsibilities:

Develop deep knowledge of the features, functions, and benefits of Cybersecurity Startup products and services with ability to articulate Cybersecurity Startup positioning in reference to the industry.
Responsible for development and delivery of product demonstrations.
Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs.
Apply knowledge of Cybersecurity Startup products and services to address customer security requirements.
Convey customer requirements to Product Management teams.
Ability to fully understand complex architectures and quickly identify possible gaps or opportunities for bypassing traditional security technologies.
Execute network and security assessments to provide deployment recommendations for Cybersecurity Startup solutions.

Requirements:

Previous enterprise pre and post sales engineering experience for a security vendor, service provider, or network security company including both presentations and hands-on responsibilities.
Proficient in developing influential, insightful relationships at all levels.
Exhibits strong interpersonal consultative selling skills and able to effectively communicate and be convincing with technical influencers and managers in selling situations. Can provide customer/partner references to demonstrate successful relationship building skills.
Strong public speaking capability - comfortable, confident, engaging and credible with large or small audiences.
Highly effective and persuasive written and verbal technical sales communication skills, including expertise in overcoming technical sales objections, and internal or external obstacles.
Continuously seeks opportunities to learn about overall business, industry and technology trends; maintains a longer view on industry trends and issues. Builds off past experiences and knowledge and seeks to share that information with others.
Technical understanding of network architecture, security architecture and design, incident response, computer forensics, and cybersecurity threat analysis.
Experience with Intrusion Detection Systems, Security Information Event Management solutions, Packet Analysis tools, and Host/Endpoint Analysis tools.
Self-starter and comfortable working in a fast paced environment on multiple engagements.
Ability to travel to work with customers.
A BS/BA in Computer Science or a related technical field or a combination of education and experience.
