Security Project Transition Manager
7+ years:
- Project management: Security related projects including antivirus, SIEM, BlueCoat, IPS/IDS, Vulnerability assessment, Splunk

This position requires working onsite daily in Plano, TX, and ability to travel in domestic U.S. up to 25%. Responsibilities: - Complete information security transition projects within given constraints of scope, schedule, budget and quality through the duration of the project - Maintain current project status for information security tasks; communicating and interacting with project stakeholders on project status - Escalate issues to the Information Security Project Manager - Ensure all transition project documentation is kept up to date and communicated to relevant stakeholders on a timely basis - Participate in transition project related meetings and contributing as a security SME - Collaborate with service management to ensure the proper service management functionality for security services is completed - Maintain open communications among project participants and affected parties - Maintain strong focus on customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional project performance and predictable, repeatable project results - Assist account personnel in the specifications and procurement of security related equipment / products - Work through formal and informal channels to obtain information - Identify security weaknesses and/or gaps in current operations and working with stakeholders to bring programs up to standards as well as provide input to program timeline, costs, and implementation - Evaluate and defining risks associated with current and proposed technologies; brief customers and management on challenges with Information Security technology and practices - Undergraduate degree and 6-8 years relevant information security experience and a strong knowledge of security products and standards, or equivalent combination of education and work experience - Experience with design, architecture and implementation of services in the areas of user account provisioning, anti-virus, endpoint encryption, content filtering, data loss prevention, endpoint encryption, file integrity, vulnerability assessment and intrusion detection / prevention - Solid familiarity with project management methodology concepts - Customer relationship management experience at the senior level - In-depth knowledge and experience with implementing and installing at least 5 of the following technologies: - Anti-Virus and endpoint protection suites such as Symantec or McAfee endpoint protection - Multi-factor Authentication tools such as RSA tokens or Dell Defender - File Integrity Monitoring (FIM) tools such as Tripwire or SignaCert - Vulnerability Analyses tools such as Critical Watch, Qualys, or Rapid 7 - Security information and event management (SIEM) tools such as McAfee Enterprise Security Manager (formerly Nitro) - Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) and Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS) from vendors such as Cisco, McAfee, Sourcefire, or Tippingpoint o Content Filtering tools from vendors such as Bluecoat or Websense - Whole Disk Encryption products such as McAfee Endpoint Encryption (Safeboot), Bitlocker (MBAM), or Symantec PGP - Active Directory and associated User Account Provisioning o Identity Management (IDM) tools such as Microsoft Forefront, Quest IDM, or Sailpoint
