Our Security Controls Engineering team is looking to hire strong security practitioners who have a passion for engineering and automating our controls As a Security Engineer, you will need to deeply understand the risks and threats to our environment and attack them by designing, building, and maintaining our next generation of controls.

Our team has responsibilities over a cross-cutting set of areas such as network, compute and data controls. Where you fit will be determined by your passion for a problem domain and your click within our team.

A B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
5+ years of industry exerpeince as a Security Engineer
Expertise in designing secure networks and systems
The ability to program in languages such as Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, Scala, C
Experience working with cloud providers like AWS, Azure and Google Cloud Platform
Experience working with Ansible, Terraform, Chef, RunDeck and other similar technologies
Knowledge of systems and platforms such as Linux/Windows, host-based networking, systems programming, distributed systems and databases

CISSP, SCCP or other relevant industry certifications

Engineering, implementing and monitoring security controls, open-soure/third-party, to prevent, detect or respond to security threats
Developing technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security threats
Continously improving security efficacy and service reliability through DevOps capabilities including automating away tasks and developing better monitoring, alerting and documentation
Partnering tightly with our Security Analysts to ensure our controls are supporting investigation and response efforts
