Security Design Engineer
Duties and Responsibilities: The objective of this role is to development end to end and comprehensive product security design for the global organization from a Connected Cars perspective. This role will establish the overall ‘to be’ program for product security and specify the best practices, standards and principles of design based on which the product team will develop to the specification.
Work independently with developers, system/network administrators, product owners, and other colleagues to ensure secure design, development, and implementation of applications and networks
Perform security design reviews of applications, systems, and networks
Perform code reviews of large applications, manually and using static analysis tools
Provide remediation guidance and recommendations to developers and administrators
Define security best practices and standards
Develop specification for Connected Car Vehicle Security
Qualifications:
Education and Years of Experience: Bachelor''s Degree
Required Skills/Certifications:
Experience with Development and Security Design
Knows Standards for global platform (NIST, AutoISAC, etc…)
Single signing, software & crypto
Protection for Cellular, Wireless, & Physical Connections with logical layers & data in the cloud
Deliverables:
Product Security Design Strategy and Roadmap
Product Security Design Principles and Specifications
Product Security Design for the Projects in Scope for Connected Cars
Product Security Design Review of Toyota, OEM and other third party components
