Candidate Responsibilities
Provide cybersecurity thought leadership through team participation during the requirement gathering, architecting, designing, and implementation phases of a project to ensure information security goals/requirements and risk of non-compliance are identified and clearly communicated to project team members and stakeholders
Provide security guidance throughout the life cycle of technology solution, including, but not limited to; security architectural reviews, product selection, technical design development, secure configuration determination, and on-going security compliance (Vulnerability Mgmt)
Analyze business impact and exposure based on emerging security threats, vulnerabilities and risks, and recommends technologies and solutions to mitigate them
Act as a subject matter expert on the implementation and capabilities of existing security controls
Assess and document the security strengths and weaknesses of existing and proposed solutions

Typical Day

Education Requirements:
Bachelor''s degree in IT or Information security related field required CISSP Certification desired.
Advanced AWS or MS Azure security certification desired.

Technical Skills
10+ years of overall cyber security
Cloud Security best practices (e.g. Cloud Security Alliance’ CCM – Cloud Controls Matrix)
Security expertise and hands-on experience with MS Azure and AWS (2+ years of experience)
General cybersecurity expertise aligned to industry standards including, but not limited to; ISO27001/2 and NIST
