Role: Security Analyst / Vulnerability Management
Required Technical Skill Set: Nessus
Desired Experience Range: 6-8 years
Location of Requirement: Baltimore, MD
Position Type: Contract to Hire
Must-Have
Technical:
* Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related technical field
* 5+ years of combined hands on experience in analysis and security engineering, research and/or consulting
* 5+ years of networking background; preferred experience with Cisco technologies
Non-Technical:
* Experience understanding and determining vulnerabilities via industry standard tools
* CIS hardening benchmarks and their associated Tenable audit files
* installing and updating Tenable Security Center with latest vendor updates
* maintaining old or configuring new data repositories
* performing data cleanup as required
* maintaining current scan schedule and running adhoc vulnerability scans
* identifying and fixing problems with scans (such as incorrect credentials, firewall blocks and failed scans)
* validating and maintaining asset lists for scans
