Security Analyst
Philadelphia, NY
4 Month CTH
We are seeking a senior security analyst who can leverage their technical depth and security experience to lead our day-to-day security activities.
Responsibilities:
Ensure the day-to-day security of information assets
Investigate and triage security alerts and incidents
Perform security scanning of systems, networks, and applications
Deploy and manage security tools, platforms, and services
Provide user security awareness training and conduct periodic phishing assessments
Manage SSL certificates and domain renewals
Review and assess impacts of threats and vulnerabilities
Identify and implement security and process improvements
Serve as security subject matter expert
Stay current with security concerns, best practices, tools, and methodologies
Required Skills:
A minimum of seven years of progressively responsible experience in information security with a strong understanding of infrastructure security platforms including host protection, firewalls, intrusion prevention, web application firewalls, email protection platforms, vulnerability scanners, etc.
High level of proficiency in Windows desktop and server configuration and management
Experience in Linux/Unix administration
Strong understanding of PowerShell and Linux scripting, including how to create and modify scripts
Experience with O365 and AWS security
Strong knowledge of networking and network-based security controls
Knowledge of database, application, and platforms security
Bachelor’s degree in an information technology-related field, or equivalent work experience
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Professional certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CISM are a plus
Familiarity with regulatory controls and frameworks such as PCI, SOX, HIPAA, and NIST
Knowledge of z/OS & RACF
