Position: Scrum Master

Location: Thousand Oaks, CA

Job Type: Long Term Contract

Must have experience to work with healthcare project(s)



Job Description:

· Requires BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline with IT focus degree; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background

· Minimum of 5+ years professional experience or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

· Must have experience in Healthcare domain.

· Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) preferred.

· Technical understanding of engineering and QA practices approaches and terminology

· Demonstrated application of and proven success of agile methodology and related tools required.

· Experience in creating an effective team environment, building strong relationships, negotiation, solving problems and issues, resolving conflicts, managing resources in a matrix environment, communicating and influencing effectively at all levels of an organization required.

· Requires an understanding of the overall organization.



Preferred:

· Knowledge of, and application of scaled frameworks such as SAFe, LeSS or Nexus

· Preferred experience within large sized Agile implementations (e.g. 5 or more teams

· Understanding of behaviors necessary to drive maturity in an agile environment

· Ability to build trust and cohesion with the dev team(s)

· Working knowledge/experience of scrum and kanban

· Coaches and mentors other Scrum Master around Agile methodologies; develops training plans; develops requirements documents; develops approval matrix; identifies team training and tool needs; defines, recommends and secures contractual agreements for technical services and products; coordinates requirements, schedules implementation and post-implement actives, and develops service-level agreements for vendor partners and global resources firms; defines quality gates for each sprint; defines critical success factors;

· Works with business partners to identify and implement multiple complex technical systems and/or products of varying sizes.

· Collaborates and stays engaged with the development team.

· Acts as a buffer between the team and process overhead, so each team member can focus on the timely delivery of software.
