Job Title: Scrum Master
Location: Philadelphia, PA
F2F required
6 months with possible ext and/or conversion
Required Skills:
· Some Scrum Master experience (can be junior on this side, willing to learn more and continue in the Scrum Master track)
· 1+ year practicing Scrum or Kanban methodology for a software development team that was diligently applying Agile principles, practices, and theory.
· Soft Skills are most important in this role:
· Self-starter Personality to hit the ground running
· Make the team happy and interface well with them on your own
· Be empathetic to what the team needs
· Be organized.
· Great communication skills both written and oral
· Any hands-on development experience a bonus
· JIRA experience more than just ‘basic user’.
· Capable of producing meaningful and insightful reports leveraging JQL queries, triaging system issues, etc.
· Use of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
· Ability to pick up on new processes quickly (written or spoken), while not being shy about figuring out who to reach out to for help when needed, and performing with little need for guidance after the first few weeks.
Bonus Skills:
Scrum Master Certification (CSM, CSP, PSM I, PSM II) - first or second level
Experience playing a Scrum Master or Agile Leadership role for at least 1 year for a software development team that was diligently applying Agile principles, practices, and theory.
Knowledge of other Agile approaches: XP, Kanban, Crystal, FDD, etc.
Knowledge and/or experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games
