Position: Scrum Master
Location: Malvern, PA
Duration: 5-6 Month Contract
Local Candidates Only - In-Person Interview Required
Education and/or Experience
Required Education: Bachelor''s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering
At least 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master
10 years of Agile/Scrum experience
Qualifications
In depth understanding of Scrum concepts and demonstrated ability to work/manage in Scrum environment
Strong Experience in Scrum estimation and planning
Required ability to manage multiple Scrum teams at a time
Working knowledge of JIRA as a project management tool.
Experience implementing Kanban methodology
Understanding of traditional SDLC needed in order to map traditional elements to Agile.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities
Understanding of general software development concepts - needs to be able to converse with developers
Comfortable interfacing with high level decision makers (VP level)
Excellent business writing skills - able to create and publish status reports, risk and issue reports etc.
Comfortable with MS Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Demonstrated negotiating skills - need to be able to work with changing times, dates, people, priories
Comfortable facilitating meetings
Able to put the team first and support the goals of the project - adept at knocking down roadblocks
